In addition to her work online, Green works with universities, conferences, military groups, and government offices on sexual health and sexual violence prevention efforts. She has also hosted award winning online sex education content with MTV (Braless, the first MTV YouTube channel), Discovery News and Planned Parenthood.
Green first got involved in social justice causes in high school, and went on to graduate summa cum laude with honorable distinction for her community activism in 2011. While in college, she taught a for-credit human sexuality course and organized sexual health programs at local high schools. Green also received her certification in domestic violence and rape crisis counseling from the state of California in 2010. After graduation, she spent 3 years serving on the ACLU of Northern California's Board of Directors, facilitating grassroots LGBT rights campaigns. In 2015, Green took her advocacy for civil rights and sex education to the White House and has since met with several Congressional leaders about her causes.
In 2016, Time named her one of the 30 most influential people on the Internet.
Green describes herself as a bonafide "California girl" and holds a great love for the beautiful region of Northern California.
