I find being able to forgive a very important quality in a relationship. It’s not very clever to harbor bad feelings and resentment towards your partner as it’s bad for your relationship and also for your health. I always make sure that when I go to bed, I do so with no resentment towards my spouse and others. I find that a regular meditation practice is really very helpful in this.

In the winter there’s not much that you would want to do outdoors as it’s all cold and dark, and you just want to stay in the warm house and only go out when it’s absolutely necessary – at least me anyway. I would honestly be very happy if hibernating for the entire winter season and only wake up when the cold weather has already passed was an option.
On another hand, I very much like being outdoors in the summer and go on picnics with my boyfriend, and he knows that. A couple of years ago it was still very cold in February, so he surprised me with an indoors picnic for Valentine’s day! It was so amazing! He put a lot of effort in it, he put all these light chains around the blanket which looked awesome, he put together a lovely dinner and bought my favorite wine and favorite cake – it was all very romantic! I liked his surprise so much that sometimes we set up an indoors picnic just for the sake of it, not just for celebrations, and enjoy quality time together.
